10. Lack of emotional expression
The medical term for this condition is an affective flattening, which can be distinguished by a restricted range of expressed emotions and is a fairly common negative symptom among some schizophrenia patients. Patients with affective flattening show relatively immobile and unresponsive facial expressions, often accompanied by poor eye contact and little body language or movement. You will see them listening to what you say but with little or almost no response.
