10 Symptoms of Hiatal Hernia
5. Pain or Discomfort in the Esophagus
Normally you don’t notice how your esophagus is feeling until you start feeling pain or discomfort in it. Your esophagus runs from your throat all the way to your stomach, and that’s where the food you eat passes through. When you feel like something is off when you swallow then that means there is discomfort and if you feel pain, well, you probably already know what pain feels like. If you’re feeling either of these, then that could be a symptom of a Hiatal hernia.
