3. Exercise May Help
The general rule with back pains is that exercise aggravates the pains while rest eases them but for Ankylosing Spondylitis the opposites holds true. This is one of the reasons why these pains are frequently worse in the morning. The fact that exercise brings relief is a good reason for anyone with this illness to try and lead as active a life as they can, but they obviously cannot stay on the go all the time.
