1. Feeling Fatigue/Energy Issues

A hallmark of thyroid problem, fatigue can be a debilitating symptom for the thyroid sufferers. If you are weak and exhausted even after 8 to 9 hours of sleep, or are not able to function without 2-3 naps, all this can be because of a poorly functioning thyroid. Thyroid dictates how much energy a person has. While a feeling of sluggishness and exhaustion is also related to other problems such as viral infections and anemia, no energy in the morning in most cases is due to a thyroid problem only. An overactive thyroid can leave a person from slightly agitated to completely nervous and confused.
